After School Programmes

Discover what's happening after school for tamariki and rangatahi during Term Three.

All after school programmes take place every week between Monday 22 July and Friday 13 September unless otherwise stated.

Young Library Guild

Weekly on Tuesdays, 3.30 - 4.30pm, Elma Turner Library.

For lovers of all things Library! Join the Guild and explore everything the library has to offer and more. As a bonus, members get to see all the latest books before they hit the shelves.

Ages 8 - 12.

Rising Scientess

Weekly on Wednesdays, 31 July - 25 September, 4 - 5pm, Elma Turner Library.

Three wonderful teen tutors volunteer their time to share their love of science. Rising Scientess is an exploration of STEM for young girls through creative and fun projects and experiments, delivered by students from Nelson College for Girls.

Ages 8 - 12. Bookings Required.

Crafty Creators

Weekly on Thursdays, 3.30 - 4.30pm, Stoke Library.

We supply the material; you bring the imagination and get crafty in the makerspace style craft session.

All ages.

Techy Time

Weekly on Thursdays, 3.30 - 4.30pm, Elma Turner Library.

Free family fun! Learn through play with our technology toys and LEGO. Best for children aged 4+.

LEGO Robotics

3-week course, Fridays, 30 August - 13 September, 3.30 - 4.30pm, Elma Turner Library

Build, code and paly with our robotics classes. A chance for kid's imaginations to run wild as they create and program robots. $5 for a 3-week course.

Ages 9+. Bookings Required.
