The Microfilm Reader is now back in business!

Our microfilm reader was temporarily out of service for a short time while going through some routine maintenance, but it is now back in business. Located in the Research Room, you can use it to access local newspapers on microfilm.

  • Nelson Examiner 1842-1874
  • The Nelson Mail 1866 to the present (microfilming in progress)
  • The Colonist 1857-1920
  • The Motueka Star 1931 - 1939 (incomplete)
