BookLink provides access to the New Zealand Blind Foundation's digital library of audiobooks, newspapers and magazines. It is a secure lending library app which is available to people who are blind, have low vision or who have a print disability. In order to use BookLink, you must be registered with the Blind Foundation as a member or associate member.
Visit the Blind Foundation website to find out more about registering as a member. Nelson Public Libraries staff can assist with the application process and support with downloading and using BookLink.
Booklink is available on Apple devices, including iPhone 4S and later, and newer iPads and iPod Touch. Once downloaded, audiobooks can be read offline.
The collection includes have 10,000 audiobooks, including many New Zealand fiction and non-fiction titles, and dozens of local and national newspapers and magazines.
