Art in the Atrium - July

Two new enlarged images are now on display on the Elma Turner Library atrium easels both link to domestic colonial lifestyle. This ongoing project features artists who supported the Art in Widows initiative plus heritage assets imaginatively photographed. Madame Fancy Pants is by artist Jan Thomson, who has supported the Art in Windows project since its inception. Thomson is known both for watercolours and oils, and loves to tell a story and see "the extraordinary in the ordinary". "Leaving Home” by photographer Graeme Skinner features Broadgreen Historic House and hints at a mystery about a young woman leaving her home.
